Over the years we'd look each other up.....but today after searching long and hard, I was met with your obituary - and for a moment - I stopped breathing.  There is so much I wish I could've said TO you and FOR you.  I wouldve told your sister ' thank you'.  But most of all I will miss the kindness of your heart and the true friend you were. Ric, I am going to really miss you, You have been like a father to me, I felt very comfortable sharing my concerns with you, You were always honest with me good or bad, When I needed to be put in the correct direction I could always count on you. The fire that I had while in the military was ignited by you, you thought me to be honest and straight forward with my Peers, subordinates and my Seniors, You taught  me to travel the hard road and never be willing be settle for a lesser result, You also taught me to fight for what I thought was right. 
Ric, I will never forget the day you told me that one day I would out rank you, it was that same day that you opened my eyes about the people that I put so much faith in, it was at that time that it was so much easier to make it in the Army. Ric, you are a friend that I will never be able to replace. I love and will miss you very much..

Antoinette, Ric loved you very much, he lived to love you, he always told me so, I want to thank you very much for allowing Ric to be special to me, I know our phone conversations were very long, but Ric always knew how to talk me in off the cliff, It was Ric that made me want to live again, The last time we spoke he told me he was going to beat Cancer, but I think he also said his good bye to me, because he told me that he loved me and never to forget the things that he and I talked about, he told me he was proud of me.  I am very sorry that I wasn't there in the end, but I honestly don't think I could have taken seeing him in his final moments, please know that I valued Ric and I will forever miss him.

It has been a blessing to be neighbors since 2005.  Rick & Antoinette have always been friendly, respectful & loving. Rob, Ricky, Ricardo, SGT Robinson was the most wonderful sweet person, we work together, he bright us with his beautiful smile at the office and may all feel happy as him.  Good person as friend/co-worker.  He is in better life, everywhere and inspiring us all to love more deeply.

  We are so very sorry for your family's loss. Rob was a wonderful human being, truly an example of what God made a man to be. A loving husband, father and friend. Never judgmental and always welcoming all that he met with warmth, sincerity, and an infectious smile. No matter how bad you felt, you always left Rob feeling better. You probably don't know many of those that are writing you, but we all feel as if we know your family because Rob always spoke of those he loved. It broke our hearts to hear of Rob's illness and then his passing.

I respected Rick most because he loved his family, and ironically our families was the foundation of our points of discussion and laughter. I am saddened to hear of Ricardo's passing.  He had a warm and genuine smile and a uniquely kind spirit. Although we haven't known each other but just a couple of years, the time spent with you and Antoinette have been so much fun and so special.  You were so kind to us from the evening before that first cruise together. We had a lot of fun, many many laughs, and lots of late night close it down pizza! We are at a loss to describe the sadness in our hearts with Rick's passing.  Our lives were joined together over 20 years and "family" is what we've become.  Rick was an older brother to me with his wise advice & shoulder to lean on, while a younger brother to Reggie with his laughter, humor & good times.  His positive outlook on life kept all of us in check to only see the good in all that we do,  His award winning smile never left his face, even on his most painful day.  When sick & hospitalized, he still found a way to take the focus off of him and put it back on you.  He will be forever loved, missed & etched in our hearts.  We love you so very much Rick.

The night you got JC to celebrate his promotion with shots of Tequila, forever turned him off from Tequila. But you both laughed about it many times.
A special memory for me with you guys was when my cable went out the night before 
Princess Diana's funeral. You and Antoinette insisted I come over at predawn hours for us to watch together( you both knew how much I admired her.) JC thought we were all crazy. Lol
The block parties, the BBQ's  gosh so many good times.

Its a very sad day today. I just found out about Rick. I met Rick many moons ago doing refersher Medical course via VTC at the Luis Martines Reserve Center at the DLS rooms. He was a great teacher coworked and just great all over. Now we have another Angel looking after us. So sorry for your lost Robinson family.

What a terrible shame. I didn't know Ricardo well, but every time I saw him he was smiling and happy...and it made me happy to meet him. It's such a loss  to everyone who had a chance to work with him. All the best to his family.
