

Ricardo Calvin Robinson, 59, of Floresville, TX passed away on August 13, 2017 after a long battle with bladder cancer. Rick was born May 28, 1958 in Philadelphia, PA. Rick was the second of four children. From an early age Rick displayed leadership skills. He loved music and poetry. After graduating from high school Rick entered the military and had a distinguished military career of over 20 years. After retiring from the military, Rick continued his career working in Video Teletraining (VTT) for the Department of the Army. During his tenure in Video Teletraining, Rick obtained his BA in Educational Science. In Jan. 2015 Rick retired from Civil Service to begin spending more time with his Best Friend and the Love of his Life, Antoinette. Rick was an avid traveler and met many people along the way. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a smile that would light up a room.
Rick leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife, Antoinette, of 34 plus years, his son Antonio his daughter Roslyn & her spouse Jeremy Kiesel, and his daughter Ashley whom preceded him in death, grandchildren , Allyson, Dominick, Remy, Zoey, Katriel, and Ash; Parents, David and June Robinson; siblings, Robin, Rhonda and DaVeda & her spouse Chris Graham; grandparents, preceded him in death, Lillian Simmons, James Edwards, David and Margret Robinson; mother-in-law, Louise Everett; his Father-In-Law LeVance Everett preceded him in death; brother’s- in-law, Anthony, LeVance & his spouse Jacqueline Everett, Laparker, Jackie His brother-in-law Roderick who preceded him in death; sister’s-in-law, Wanda & her spouse John Griffin, Sandra & her spouse Ernest Graham. Rick also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins & many loving friends. Family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a Bladder Cancer Charity in Rick’s name.
