I graduated in 1962, a year after Richard, but I knew him as a great guy. He was friendly and I don't think I ever saw him be cross-ways with anyone. He had an upbeat attitude and a good sense of humor. I am very happy to see he had a wonderful life. I just found out that he passed away 11 years ago. I know he is with our Lord. Thank you, Richard, for being a friend.

My name is Robert Earl Clark, I am the grandson of Essie L. Fine(Burkett) She was the sister to Richard Lee Fine's father. (James R Fine). I do not remember Richard, However, I remember his parents Uncle JR & Aunt Theda Mae and the times I with my grandparent visited with them. I would like to say GOD BLESS each and everyone of you. Went to school with Richard for many years and always found him to be a good faithful friend. Send my condolences to his family.

Richard and I were married for over ten years and had two sons. We were married at the start of my senior year in 1962 corrected dateand our honeymoon was in San Marcos at the Aquarina Springs Hotel. When we awoke in the morning and opened the drapes to the large windows there were parakeets caged with a rock wall as a backdrop. It was beautiful. 
He was a good person and lived simply. He was as a Christian.

Though I only knew him as a young man, Richard's picture looked just as I would have imagined him looking at this age. I'm grateful that he was active and busy right up until the time he died. God's peace and comfort to his family and loved ones.

I didn't know Lee very well. He worked for a courier service that we used for a little while at work. He was always smiling and laughing and always had a great story to tell. What a sweet man he was. I was so surprised to see his picture in the paper. It was a shock. I hadn't seen him in quite some time but he will be missed. My prayers and thoughts are with the family. May God Bless You.
