Richard Peter Johnson, born on November 21, 1929 was called home to be with the Lord, on December 21, 2016, in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 87. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway., with a Celebration of Life to begin at 6:00 p.m. that same evening. Burial will be at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 9:15 a.m. to follow with the rendering of military honors.
