Richard was preceded in death by a brother, Jerome Meyer. Survivors include 3 children, Richard Joseph Meyer and wife Sally Jo of Kennewick, WA, Diane Marie Perkins and husband Richard of Friendswood, TX, and Sandy Ann Durke of San Antonio, TX; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 8 siblings, Betty Danziesen and husband Earle, Norman Meyer and wife Rose, Ione Thelen, Edwin Meyer and wife Mary Lou, Carol Ley and husband Richard, Donald Meyer and Veronica Johnson, Susie Kramer and husband Gene, and Louie Meyer and wife Paula; and a sister-in-law, Birde Meyer.
