Richard Rodriguez

Richard was born on August 21, 1946, in San Antonio, Texas. He proudly served in the United States Air Force. Richard was a devoted husband, loving father, and loyal friend to many. He was always a cheerful and spiritual person who had a big heart and loved to play his guitar at the church. He played and participated in countless A.C.T.S. retreats and enjoyed attending Hondo Sporting and Band events. Richard loved the Garcia Boys. He always attended important activities and celebrations with them.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Jesusita and Jesus Rodriguez.

He is survived by his loving wife, Paloma Lopez Rodriguez; sons, Richard Rodriguez, and James Rodriguez; stepchildren, Javier, Paloma, and Sergio Lopez; his best friend, Sadie, his Yorkie; six grandchildren; sisters, Sopopa Castillo, Gloria Barera; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Father John Raharjo will officiate. Interment with Air Force Honors will follow in Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
