Robert R. Abbott, Jr, age 67, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2013 in San Antonio, Texas. Robert was born on April 12, 1946 to Robert R. Abbott, Sr. and Rosie Bernell Price Abbott. He loved to garden and work in his yard, get together with family, and was a loyal Dallas Cowboy fan.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert R. Abbott, Sr., and Rosie Bernell Price Abbott; brothers-in-law, William Becker, Roman Becker, Gary Vacek; and grandson, Tyler Abbott.
Robert is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary Ann Abbott; daughter, Melissa Elmore and husband, Mike; son, Troy Abbott; grandchildren, Anthony Elmore, Emily Elmore, Amanda Elmore, Kayla Kenyon, Jayden Kenyon and Athene Abbott; sister, Bobbie Schmidt; sisters-in-law, Florence Vacek and Elaine Klar and husband, Larry and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
