Bartholomew, Robert E., age 95 years, formerly of Dearborn, MI and resident of San Antonio since 1995 died March 22, 2014. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Barbara (Louise) Hunt Bartholomew, parents Helen Mae Hooey Bartholomew and George Howard Bartholomew and his siblings Jean Lichtenberg and George Bartholomew.
He is survived by two daughters, Patricia Bartholomew Sweitzer and Pamela Bartholomew Lowey-Ball; two sons-in-law John and Roy; four grandchildren Jennifer Cooper, Matthew, Lindsey Sanders, and Brittany Zars; and two great grandchildren Jacob and Brenalyn.
A service will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 12:00 P.M. at the Dowell & Martin Funeral Home, 365 W. Main St., Mt. Vernon, Kentucky 40456 (606)-256-2991.
