

June 30, 2021, after a long health battle.
In 1968 Robert joined the United States Navy, serving a total of 8 years. He worked for the Department of Defense for 37 years. During this time he attended Logos Bible College and held a Bachelor of Biblical Studies. He also attended National Christian University with a certificate in counseling for chemical dependency.
If there was ever a life to be celebrated, it was his. Robert was a man of great faith, tenacity and fortitude.
He leaves behind a legacy of perseverance, courage and selfless sacrifice. Robert remained a steadfast servant of the Lord who joyfully shared the Gospel wherever life took him. He was often found praying with others, leading them to Christ, or beseeching God for their healing all while he was in wait for his own. Despite his countless trials, and declining health, Robert fought the good fight of faith and finished strong.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Reyes Flores, brother, Juan Flores Jr., brother-in-law, Ruben Ramos and grandchild Ethan Wayne Thrasher.
Robert is survived by his wife of 30 years, Kathleen Sheehy Flores. He is also survived by his children, Robert Flores, Jr. (Cindy Flores), Erica Marie Arcos (Richard Arcos), Mary Colleen Uranga (Joshua Uranga), Timothy G. Thrasher (Amanda Thrasher), and 9 grandchildren.
He is also survived by his siblings, Rachael Cardenas (Henry), Carmen (Barron) Ramos, Richard Flores (Petra), Olga Flores, and Ruben Flores.
