Robert Joseph Gramling

Born October 21, 1931 in Minneapolis, MN, Robert attended Dallas Jesuit High School. Upon graduation, he served four years in the U.S. Air Force and later attended St. Mary's University, where he was member of the two National Honor Societies, received a BA in History and completed two years of law school. Devout husband and father of seven children, Robert dedicated his adult life to the character development of children and young men. Over a twenty-year period, Robert coached and mentored hundreds of children on a volunteer basis and later taught and coached basketball at Holy Cross High School and South Side High School.

Mr. Gramling is preceded in death by his parents, Ray Peter Gramling and Margaret Olsen Gramling and his children Robert Gregory and Catherine Ann. He is survived by his loving wife of fifty years, Patricia Ann Gramling; his children, Ray Peter, Jon Christopher, Mark Joseph, Karl Jerome and Molly Beth Rangel; his son and daughters in marriage, Jose, Susan, Wendy, Jeanette, Lon; and grandchildren Meagan, April, Christopher, Matthew, Mason, Zachary and Lola.
