'I love this picture of Bob. So handsome. Mary Alice and Bob brought so much joy to my parents, Bill and Rita Niklaus. Their visits were always highly anticipated in New Orleans as were out trips to San Antonio. I have fond memories of the beautiful family he and Mary Alice grew. A treasure to us all.'

'My heart is broken for the Gueringer/Tidwell Family today. They have lost a beautiful soul, in the form of Terry. I'm honored to have met him, through Rhonda and Emily. To have had a place at his table for Thanksgiving several years ago, where his parents and brother were also present. This man had a heart the size of Texas. Was a friend to the smallest and largest of God's creatures, and gave his all. I'm sure that all the puppers at the Bridge charged him, when he came into view, and all were vying for his attention. I don't know of any photo in recent years, that didn't have one or more dogs as Terry's appendage. He will be missed.'

'Mr. Gueringer was my insurance agent forever. He was first my parents'. I reckon I inherited him. I found him to be a reliable, responsible, and honest man. I enjoyed working with him over the years. One time in the last century, when I was in his office, he told me he had retired. When I asked him why he was in the office if he was retired, he said his wife told him he could read the newspaper just as easily at work as he did at home. I was so happy to learn later that he had not stayed retired.
He was a trustworthy man who never steered me wrong. He was so very helpful to me over the years and I am most grateful to him for that. I missed him when he did retire in 2012 and I miss him now. I am so very sorry for your loss. Please take comfort in knowing that you are in my prayers.'
