Robert A. "Bob" Jones of San Antonio, Texas, age 91 passed away Friday, February 18, 2005. He was born May 12, 1913 in Big Spring, Texas to Frank Bell and Ola Alice Jones who preceded him in death as well as his brother and sisters. He was a veteran of WWII having proudly served in the 8th Army Air Force in the European Theater.
After completing military service, Mr. Jones entered civilian life and became successful in many business ventures. Namely, District Sales Manager for Barton Mfg. Co. serving 7 states and Mexico. He also owned South Texas Food Brokerage Co., was a Restaurant owner and later completed his career as a Real Estate Broker.
He enjoyed the outdoor life with his wife whether it was camping trips, traveling the country, clearing the land or raising quail and livestock. His most cherished and loving memories were sharing life with his wife, "Louie". He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Christine Jones.
Mr. Jones is survived by his daughter, Judith Christine Jones-Kosub and husband Gerald; sons, Kenneth Blakely Jones and wife Sheryl and Keith Lewis Jones and wife Vanessa.
