

Robert Lang, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and cherished member of the community, passed away peacefully at the age of 83 in San Antonio, TX. Born in the picturesque town of Fredericksburg, TX, Robert's journey through life was marked by love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to his family.
Robert leaves behind his loving wife of 41 ½ years, Judy Lang, with whom he shared a bond that transcended time and distance. Their love was a beacon of strength and support, guiding them through life's myriad challenges with grace and resilience. He is also survived by their children, Robert Lang and Meghan Watkins and husband Shannon, as well as his children from his first marriage, Robert Anthony Lang, his wife, Laura, & their four children; and Ramona Lang & her three children.
The joy of Robert's life was found in the company of his grandchildren, David and Elijah Lang and Andrew Watkins who knew him as “Opa.” He cherished every moment spent with them, delighting in their laughter and watching them grow into remarkable individuals. Robert's playful spirit and warm heart made him a beloved figure in their lives, leaving a definite mark on their hearts.
An adventurer at heart, Robert found solace and serenity in the tranquil waters of Lake LBJ. He reveled in family outings and cherished memories made against the backdrop of nature's beauty. Robert's sense of humor was legendary, and he was known for his quick wit and penchant for "dad jokes" that never failed to bring a smile to those around him.
In retirement, Robert embraced a new chapter of his life with gusto, taking on a part-time role as a cashier at Walmart. His infectious charm and genuine kindness endeared him to both colleagues and customers alike. He formed deep connections with the regular patrons of the store, receiving heartfelt Christmas cards as tokens of appreciation for his warmth and friendship.
Robert’s family will celebrate his life at a later date in a private and personal way.
