

Born in 1948 in San Antonio, Robert remained closely connected to his roots throughout his life. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Cecilia Lister, and a proud father to his two sons, Michael Lister and David Lister. His legacy lives on through his grandchildren: Christian Cecchini-Lister, Kaori Lister, Cameron Lister, Jeremy Lister, and Dylan Lister—each of whom brought him deep pride and joy.
In recent years, Robert was further blessed with the arrival of his great-granddaughters, Camilla and Cecil whose laughter and presence brought a renewed light and warmth to his life. They were a source of pure delight, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
A brilliant and driven engineer, Robert's passion and talent help to lead a successful company—an achievement that reflected both his intellect and his tireless dedication. His work left a lasting mark not only on his field but also on all who had the privilege of working alongside him.
Robert was a man of deep faith, a devoted Catholic who found strength and guidance in his beliefs. His life was one of integrity, quiet strength, and unwavering love for his family. Those who knew him will remember his steady presence, kind heart, and the wisdom he shared so freely.

A Rosary will take place on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., at St. Mark Catholic Church, 1602 Thousand Oaks Drive, San Antonio, Texas.
A Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mark Catholic Church, 1602 Thousand Oaks Drive, San Antonio, Texas.
Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery and a reception will be held after the graveside at St. Mark Catholic Church.
