Robert, affectionately known to his friends and family, was a man who dedicated himself to his loved ones and his profession. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Pizzini and son, Robert James Pizzini.Robert is survived by his adoring daughters, Deborah (Chris) Keen, Denise Pizzini, Danette (Michael) Stein, and Diane (Marks) Chowning. His memory will be cherished by his grandchildren, Adam Keen, Zachary Keen, Preston Stein, Gabrielle Stein, Lowell Stein, Delaney Armstrong, Reagan Armstrong, Alexander Robinson, Nicholas Robinson, and Marcus Pizzini. Robert also leaves behind great-grandchildren, Tyson Keen, Zoe Keen, Elliot Keen, Adrian Berens, and Isabelle Berens, who will miss their great-grandfather's warmth and wisdom.
Robert's journey began as a young man at Central Catholic High School, where he laid the foundations of a lifetime of learning and excellence. He then furthered his education at the University of Texas Austin, where he earned a degree in architecture. His passion for design and innovation led him to a distinguished career as an architect, where he practiced in his beloved city of San Antonio.
His service to his country was exemplified by his time in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict, where he demonstrated the same dedication and integrity that he would carry throughout his life. Robert's commitment to his community was evident in his willingness to share his architectural expertise, helping to shape the city that he loved.
Robert's interests went beyond his professional life; he was a man who believed in giving back to the community that had given him so much. His involvement in various associations and his willingness to lend his architectural skills were testaments to his desire to make a positive impact on the world around him.
Those who knew Robert will remember him as a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
