A native of San Antonio, he graduated from Jefferson High School and the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics; he was a member of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity.
After enrolling in the first computer science courses offered by UT, he enjoyed a career in Data Processing which included employment with IBM, Prudential Insurance, several Data Processing Consulting firms and twelve years as Computer Programming Manager for Central Texas College in Killeen, TX.
After retiring from CTC, he returned to San Antonio, where he reaffiliated with St. Mark's Church, the parish in which he had grown up, and served as an usher for several years.
He served his country during the Vietnam War as a Systems Analyst for the United States Army Data Support Command in the Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Graham Watts, Sr. and Frances H. Watts; and his brother, James Richard Watts.
He is survived by his son, Robert Graham Ambrosino Watts; sister, Karen Marie Watts; and brother, John Mason Watts.
Interment will be private.
