Roberto O. Rubio

Roberto was preceded in death by his wife, Eulalia Rubio and is survived by his children, Sylvia Lopez and husband Jesus, Robert D. Rubio and wife Lisa, Elizabeth Lesure and husband Kevin, Jonathan Rubio; grandchildren, Natalie Lopez, Lissette Lopez, Ashley Rubio, Emily Rubio, Gabriel Martinez and wife Kristen, Michelle Fuentes and husband Joshua, Breon Lesure and Cindee Lesure; great-grandchildren, Khaliyah Martinez, Alexis Rubio, Braedon Martinez, Malakai Fuentes, Laliana Fuentes, Brielle Martinez, Misael Lopez and Fabien Mata; brother, Andres Rubio.

Prior to moving to San Antonio, Roberto and his wife Lala were owners of Rubio’s Mexican Food Restaurant in Seagraves, Texas from 1983 to 2001. Prior to that Roberto was a farmer with the Don Ward Family Farm. Roberto was a member of Templo Sendero de la Cruz in Seagraves, Texas for many years.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, Texas 78238 with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. A funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home with interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery at Cordi-Marian.
