Rodolfo spent his early years in Laredo, where he attended St. Augustine High School and graduated in 1956. There, he met the love of his life, Delia Andrea Peña, whom he later married on March 29th, 1958, and together they had four sons.
Rodolfo honorably served in the United States Air Force for four years as an aircraft mechanic, traveling to different parts of the world during his service.
After his military service, Rodolfo and his family lived throughout Texas as he worked for H.B. Zachry Company for 48 years. Family was central to his life, and he cherished the time spent traveling across the United States with his wife and sons, alongside his brother's family.
Following his retirement, Rodolfo settled in Spring Branch, Texas, where he enjoyed working on his red 1966 Mustang, barbecuing, and living a peaceful life with his cat.
Rodolfo was preceded in death by his wife, Delia; his son, Rodolfo Roberto; and his son, Ricardo Roel. He is survived by his sons, Ricardo René and Rolando Roel; his daughters-in-law, Charlene Ramon, Patricia Ramon, and Marysa Ramon; his ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He is also survived by his brother, José María Ramon; and his sisters-in-law, Leonor Ramon and Belda Hinojosa.
A Rosary will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 4201 De Zavala Rd. San Antonio, TX 78249, at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 28th, 2026, with a Mass to follow at 10:00 a.m.
Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Help of Christians Cemetery, 1373-1429 RM 473, Blanco, TX 78606.
Pallbearers will be Ricardo Rene Ramon, Rolando Roel Ramon, Rodolfo Marcial Ramon, Alejandro Augustin Ramon, Ricardo Louis Ramon, and Roel Antonio Ramon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Ferdinand’s Catholic Church, 25 Main Street, Blanco, TX
