

Roger Allen Galbraith, 80, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 4, 2024. He was born on September 1, 1943, in Little Falls, New York to Donald and Helen Galbraith. Roger served 4 years in the United States Navy from 1962-1966. After his military service, he began a 40-year career as as a Computer Systems Technician. Throughout his career he earned an associates degree through night school classes and kept up with computer technology from the 60’s to the 2000’s.
Roger and his wife of 57-years, Sheila, enjoyed new surroundings and lived in Little Falls, NY, Nashville, TN, Ft Lauderdale, FL, Warminster, PA, San Mateo, CA and Lewes, DE in their adventure together. Roger was an expert at woodworking, which started as a hobby and almost turned into a second career. He took great pride and detail in his woodworking, and his craftsmanship was sought after by numerous individuals for unique wood projects and replacement parts for antique furniture and fixtures. He loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren; Roger cherished every moment with them. He attended Christ Lutheran Church in Alamo Heights, where he found solace and community. Roger is survived by his wife, Sheila Galbraith; his daughter, Shelley White and son-in-law Bill White; and his son Roger Galbraith and daughter-in-law, Maria Galbraith; and seven grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Christ Lutheran Church Alamo Heights.
