On August 22nd, at the age of 61, Roger went to be with our Heavenly Father. In his final hours, he was blessed to be surrounded by his beloved family. He is survived by his fiance, Aubrey Garza, and his six children; Stephanie Lewis, Lori Lewis, Roger Lewis, Jr., Kathy Lewis Macias, Peter Lewis and Jason Lewis; his step children Vanessa Kincheloe, Monica Kincheloe, and Ricky Roberts; his mother Elouise Lewis and siblings; Robert, Cynthia, Carol and Ronald Lewis; grandchildren: Taylor, Jarrett, Kaylie, Dario, Noah, Lucas, Xavier, Aeriana, Elijah, Elias and Jaylene.
Roger was born in San Antonio and attended Thomas Jefferson High School, where he earned the nickname "Snail". This lead to a lifetime of collecting snail memorabilia from friends and family. He loved his job working as a court coordinator for District Clerks Garcia and Montemayor, and was assigned to the 225th District Court of the Honorable Judge John J. Specia, Jr. and Honorable Judge Peter Sakai.
