He is preceded in death by his parents, Simon Olivares Ruiz and Maria Cecelia Ruiz and brother, Simon Noel Ruiz.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Evangelina M. Ruiz; sisters, Maria Dolores Cardona and Deanna R. Gonzalez (Reynaldo) and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Roland will be held Thursday, November 3, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Friday, November 4, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church with entombment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
