Romanita Gomez

Romanita Gomez, 100 entered into eternal rest on September 28, 2023, in San Antonio, TX. Ms. Gomez was born to Emilio Lopez and Maria Gonzalez in San Antonio, TX. Romanita was a seamstress for 60 years. She was an active member of the Guadalupana’s and assisting in festivals and bake sales. She enjoyed making tamales and sharing her techniques with her children. Ms. Gomez love watching wrestling but was a welcoming person and made everyone feel loved. She is preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband of 21 years, Jose Gomez. Ms. Gomez is survived by her children, Christine, Ricardo, Carmen, Jose, Irene; 10 Grandchildren and 28 Great Grandchildren. She will be truly missed by family and friends.

Visitation will begin on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road at 5:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. with the Rosary to be received at7:00p.m. Funeral procession will be departing the funeral home, Wednesday, October 6, 2023 at 9:30a.m. with Mass of Resurrection to be held at Christ the King Catholic Church at 10:00a.m. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery 2.
