

In 1958, he proudly enlisted in the US Air Force and became a Russian Linguist. He subsequently obtained his Bachelor's degree from Park University, and Master's degree from Webster University, MO.
In 1963, he was selected for Officer Training School and was commissioned as an Officer. He retired in San Antonio, TX after 31 years of dedicated service.
Ron enjoyed his family, loved reading and college football.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Garland Browning and Ruby Payne Browning.
Ron is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Jean; children: Traci Fest of Lakehills, TX; SMSgt. Trevor Browning, USAF and wife, Margaret of Virginia; Scott Browning and wife, Kimberly of Houston; six grandchildren: Jessica, Billy, Lauren, Trey, Hunter and Peyton; brother, Larry Browning of Jackson, MS and sister, Barbara Dunn of Austin, TX; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many wonderful friends.
The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to Amedysis Hospice and their staff for their kindness and care extended to our family.
