

He will be remembered for many things, but mostly for the love of his family. He was quick to share a joke, he loved to hunt, loved the Lord, and was a faithful son to his parents, Floyd Lee and Thelma Ann Burgess, both of whom precede him in death.
His wife, Judy Smith Burgess, was forever his faithful companion and friend. They celebrated their forty-eighth wedding anniversary on June 7, 2006. Ronald was originally from Charleston, West Virginia, born there on Sept. 1, 1937.
In addition to his wife, he leaves behind three children, Robin Doug Stutzman, Michael, and Patrick Beth Burgess and will be joining his oldest son Scott, in his eternal home. Grandchildren include, Heather, Lauren, Katie and Hannah Hill, Alex and Connor Burgess, Gage Burgess, and Kathryn and Jack Burgess, along with Jeffrey and Michael Miller. His brothers include Robert and Raymond Ruth Burgess. He will be also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters and brothers in-law and mother in-law, Edith Smith.
Ronald spent many years as a stockbroker, working for several firms until his retirement nine years ago. He was educated within the industry as a young man and grew into a very successful businessman, known for the care that he gave each of his clients, treating them with the respect he felt they all deserved.
Memorial contributions in Ronald's name may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
