

Ronald F. Hrncir passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022, in San Antonio, Texas, at 76 years of age. He was born on April 10, 1945, in San Antonio, TX, to parents Frank Joseph Hrncir and Helen Emma (Ullmann) Hrncir. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Helen Hrncir, and his brother, Kenneth Wayne Hrncir. Ronald is survived by his wife of 56 years, Carolyn; his sons, Stephen F. Hrncir and wife, Cathy, and Gregory S. Hrncir and wife, Yvette; his brothers, Michael L. Hrncir and wife, Debra and Randall K. Hrncir and wife, Marie; his sister-in-law, Nancy Hrncir; and his four grandchildren, Austin, Alexis, Cody, and Sophia. He is also survived by beloved nieces and nephews as well as his faithful faith community at St. Marks.
Ron graduated from Central Catholic High School, Class of 1963. He attended St. Marys University and UTSA, where he majored in Accounting. He served with pride for three years in the United States Marine Corps; was a member of St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church; was Charter Member and Past Grand Knight of Knights of Columbus Council #7613; was Charter Member and Past Faithful Navigator of St. Rafael Guizar Valencia Fourth Degree Assembly #3018; and was a member of Bexar County Czech Heritage Society. Rons professional career included Comptroller, Accountant, Property Management, Sales Manager, Commercial and Residential Realtor, as well as Instructor for Alamo Institute of Real Estate.
Upon his retirement, Ron enjoyed spending time with his family and being known as "Papu" to his four grandchildren. Ron married his high-school sweetheart, Carolyn, and were married for 56 years. They shared a love of Country and Czech music as well as bar-b-ques with family and life-long friends. He especially enjoyed time in the country at his beloved ranch in Charlotte, Texas.
