Ronnie graduated from Jefferson High School in 1967, where he met his wife Linda Shelton Maxwell. He also received his bachelors of business administration from Southwest Texas State University.
Ronnie worked at Gillespie Ford for 20 plus years, then spent another 20 plus years with his current employer North Park Lincoln. He sold auto parts throughout central and south Texas, always telling jokes, and proudly calling his customers "friends." Linda and Ronnie built a life together in San Antonio after they married in 1970.
He loved to golf, hunt, fish, and be involved in sports. He was well known for being a great cook, telling jokes, and entertaining a crowd. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Left to honor and cherish his memory are his wife, Linda; his daughter Kelly Voigts, her husband Busch, grandson Busch "Quattro", and second grandson expected in August in Atlanta; and his son Casey Maxwell, residing in Houston.
Ronnie is survived by his sister, Linda Tom and her husband Jim Tom of Fair Oaks Ranch; his uncle Russell and wife Vivian Maxwell of San Antonio; his nephew, Jeff Tom and wife Dr. Dina Tom of San Antonio.
