Rosa was born in San Diego, TX to Cleofas and Guadalupe Uresti. She spent over 25 years at the VA where veterans commented on her compassion and commitment. Rosa and her daughter enjoyed extensive international travel together.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Laurence M. Beasley and most recent husband, Ernest Z. Garza.
Rosa is survived by her loving daughter to which she dedicated her life, Connie Beasley; brother, Victor Uresti; special friend, Silvia and numerous nieces and nephews. Much gratitude to Dr. Michael Lichtenstein. Special thanks to her loving caregivers.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Porter Loring Mortuary chapel.
