Rosa Lou Christina went to be with the Lord on July 20, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Lois Wilson, daughter Brenda Leigh Lopez, son Michael Christina and granddaughter Sarah Rose Council. She is survived by her loving husband Louis Leo Christina, daughter Donna Strough (Keith) of San Antonio, TX, Linda Cavalcante of Kennesaw, GA, Debbie Council (Tommy) of Urbana, OH, Rhonda Christina of Nashville, TN, son-in-law Robert Lopez of San Antonio, TX, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Rose was a board member of the German Shepherd Dog Club of San Antonio for several years. Visitation will be held on Sunday July 27, 2014 from 5-9 pm at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Monday July 28, 2014 at 12 noon at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. The family will have a gathering with refreshments immediately following at the Marriott Residence Inn 2838 Cinema Ridge.
