Rosa Joanne Mueller

Mrs. Joanne Mueller, age 90, of San Antonio, Texas passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2022, in New Braunfels, Texas. She was born on March 5, 1932, in Cuero, Texas to parents, Joe and Rosa (Lee) Scogin. Mrs. Mueller is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Lee Mueller. They were married August 4, 1950. She held several positions with USAA for over 25 years. Mrs. Mueller enjoyed gardening, traveling the United States and spending time with her grandchildren. While traveling she enjoyed spending time at the coast. She also loved to play poker with her friends.

Mrs. Mueller was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harry; Uncle Lawrence and Big Momma; and sister-in-law, Sylvia Ann; and numerous other relatives and friends.

She is survived by her sons, Richard L. Mueller (Denise), Roger A. Mueller, and Randall S. Mueller (Nanette); grandchildren, Rachel, Brittani, Amanda and Chelsea; great grandchildren, Madison, Maya and Jax; brother-in-law, Ross Davis; and numerous other loving relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends for a visitation on Friday, September 16, 2022, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Porter Loring Mortuary North. Services will follow on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at 2:00 PM in the Porter Loring Chapel.

The family would like to send tremendous amount of thanks to Elara Caring Hospice for all the love and support they gave Mrs. Mueller.

We would also like to thank Kirkwood Manor for all the wonderful care they gave Joanne! She had such compationate care! They were wonderful to her and the family!
