Rosalie D. Hernandez, age 78, went beautifully and peacefully into the loving arms of the Lord on Tuesday, August 9, 2016. She was born in San Antonio to parents Frank and Carrie (Esquivel) De La Rosa. She is preceded in death by her parents; sons, Ray and Steve Esquivel; grandson, David A. Martinez. She is loved and will be missed by children, Frank Esquivel (Cynthia), Diane Martinez (Juan), Erica and Eric Hernandez; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Rosalie was a member of the Mujeres en Cristo at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church. She loved spending time with her family, working with her plants, playing dominos and watching her red birds.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 15, 2016 beginning at 11:00 am to 6:30 pm and a Rosary will be held at 6:30 pm at Porter Loring on McCullough.
Mass will take place on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 9:00 am at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 1710 Clower St.
Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery at Cordi Marian.
