Rosalie O. Martinez

Rosalie Oropeza Martinez, age 60, passed away on December 27, 2022, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on October 21, 1962, in San Antonio to Carlos F. Martinez and Enriqueta Oropeza. She worked as a Medical Assistant for over 20 years, from where she later retired. Rosalie loved to spend time with her family and travel. In her spare time she also liked to tend to her flowers, read, and watch scary movies. She especially loved her dog, Tessa Love. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Enrique Martinez (Dora), Alex Martinez (Maria Elena), and Carlos Martinez, Jr. (Frances); sister, Juanita Quirino (Angel). She is survived by sisters, Maria Gloria (Jose) and Angela Bocanegra (Raul); numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 9, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 at Porter Loring Mortuary on McCullough Ave.
