Rosalinda Perez

She graduated from Burbank High School and attended San Antonio College. She worked in colleges and public schools in San Antonio. Rosalinda retired as a maintenance foreman from Northeast ISD. She was a member of the Guadalupanas Society at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and was a friend to all and mentor to many.

She was a loving and caring companion, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her family was very important to her. Helping her family was one her greatest joys in life. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Her family loved her for her sense of humor and positive attitude.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Rosalinda is survived by her companion, Xavier Zapata; daughter, Lisa Perez and companion Jesse Trinidad; sons, Gilbert Perez III and wife Cindy, Thomas Perez and partner Greg Horner, Gregory Perez and wife Rosamaria; grandchildren, Tony Ryan (Mara), Victoria (Andrew), Arica, Matthew, Gregory Jr., Emily, Ashley; great-grandchild, Andrew Esquivel Jr., eight surviving brothers and sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, June 16, 2013, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
