Lindy is survived by Gabriel Lozano, husband of 45 years, Lisa Lozano Vines (Daughter), Rylee Vines (Granddaughter), Reid Vines (Grandson), Carson Vines (Grandson), Kathy Walker (Sister), Jackie Gil (Sister), Russell Walker (Brother), Carol Barker (Sister), Steve Walker (Brother), Ed Walker (Brother), Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
When someone like Lindy leaves this earth it creates an incredibly large hole in so many hearts of those left behind. Anyone who had the privilege of crossing Lindy’s path during the 66 yeas the Lord blessed us with her, undoubtably experienced her authentic kindness and contagious smile that would likely begin and end with a hug whether you were a stranger or her family. For those who knew Lindy beyond an introduction, chances are, you are more confident, inspired, and ready to love others than before knowing her. And for family, Lindy was the glue and the positive force that encouraged unity when there was uncertainty, empathy and forgiveness when there was pain and mistakes made, and unconditional love every step of the way.
Because Lindy was such amazing example of how we should spend our time here, those closest to her would like everyone to consider honoring her by paying goodness forward. Lead with kindness more often, always greet strangers with a smile, hug longer and more often, be authentic, take the time to know those you journey with, and most importantly, be present and love God and those surrounding you with your whole heart as if it is your last opportunity.
