

Always an excellent student, Rose graduated from Holmes High School, received her B.A. in Political Science from UTSA and her Masters in Organizational Management from the University of Incarnate Word.
Rose worked at USAA for almost 18 years, moving up to Senior Policy and Performance Underwriter. She had a great love of animals, watching the Cowboys and Spurs, reading, travel and fine food. Most of all, Rose loved being with her family.
Rose is survived by her father, Guadalupe and his wife, Sydney; mother, Maria Vasquez; three sisters, Rachel Vasquez, Alice Galan and husband, James and Maxlyn Vasquez and husband, Roger Sauseda, Jr.; two brothers, Jesse Mireles, Vincent Vasquez and wife, Brooke; loving and devoted companion, Edward Cardenas; long time best friend, Veronica Rivera Cortez; two nephews, Nathaniel Galan, Bennett Vasquez; four nieces, Addison Vasquez, Sloane Vasquez, Violet Galan and MacKenzie Sauseda; her cat, Harley; numerous aunts and uncles, along with countless number of friends from her beloved USAA family. She was loved by many and will be forgotten by none.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Porter Loring Mortuary on McCullough Ave.
