

Rosemary was born on February 9, 1936 in San Antonio. She was raised in the Italian community located on the near west side of San Antonio, and graduated from Providence High School in 1953.
She worked primarily as an office administrator for various companies in the San Antonio area.
Rosemary was actively involved in the Christopher Columbus Italian Society and the Altar and Rosary society of St. Francis Di Paola Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Adeline Pantusa, her sister, Jo Ann Zoellner and brother-in-law, Andru Rios.
Rosemary is survived by her husband, John Valentine, daughter, Lori, son-in-law, Henry De La Cerda, Brother, Paschal Pantusa and sisters in law, Julie Rios and Tinamarie Pantusa as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff of Franklin Park Alamo Heights as well as the nursing staff of Embrace Hospice. These individuals provided exceptional care for Rosemary in her last few months. The level of expertise and caring they demonstrated on a daily basis was exemplary.
A Memorial Mass will be held for Rosemary at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, date and times are currently pending with a private burial to follow.
