Rosita Sario Berger

Rosita was born in the province of Bias Negros Oriental, Philippines to Pedro Sario and Elisa Rosalem on September 6, 1948.

She went to school in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental. She married David Berger on December 2, 1973 in Angeles City, Philippines. She graduated with a degree in commerce from Calatrava Negros Occidental. She worked in food service for many years and later as a personal caregiver. She was involved in Buddhism through SGI-Big Country in San Antonio, Texas. She was a vice-district leader for several years and received recognition for her service.

Rosita is preceded in death by her husband David Berger and brothers Emong and Junior Sario.

Rosita is survived by her children, Maria Decker and Ausia Berger and siblings, Whelma Donahoe, Marcellena Vasquez. Virginia Kirby, Minda Sario, Rhohilio Sario, Roberto Sario.

Funeral services will be held at 1100 a.m. on Saturday June 14, 2025 at Sunset Funeral Memorial Park.

Internment will be conducted privately at Fort Sam Houston Cemetery on June 23, 2025 at 2:30 p.m.
