She was a graduate of Hamline Asbury School of Nursing. In San Antonio, she was a charter member of Oxford United Methodist Church, Past President of San Antonio Assembly #159 of the Social Order of the Beauceant and a member of Nekodah Temple #44.
In Boerne, she was a member of the Daughters of the Nile and Nile of the Hills Club.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Edward C. Bud Jordan; sons, Gary Charles Shirley Jordan, Bellingham, WA; Rodney Chris Jordan, Chicago, IL; daughter Dee Ellen Jordan, Austin, TX; grandsons Ryan Bailey Jordan and Jim Jordan; granddaughters Tasya Orsagh and Aimee Johnson; great grandchildren Krystal, Jessica, Rasheal, Abby, Cody and Alexis Jordan, Molly Anne and Kannon Orsagh.
