Roy joined in the US Army in 1967 and shortly after he also served in the US Air Force. He served his country for 10 years until his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Roger Garza. Roy is survived by his wife, Lupita Garza Padilla; son, Russell Padilla and wife Monica; 2 daughters; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Rudy Z. Padilla; sister, Emily Gonzales; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Porter Loring Mortuary.
