Ruben Garcia Ortiz age 60, born May 25, 1958, in San Luis, Potosi, Mexico, passed away on February 11, 2019, in San Antonio, Texas. He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Benito & Marcos Ortiz, mother Maria Santiaga Ortiz Garcia, brother Gilberto Ortiz and sister Catalina Ortiz, He is survived by his wife, Julianna Ortiz; Children: Alejandra Galvan ( Jesus), Denise Ortiz ( Walter Robertson), Lilliana Ortiz, Ruben Ortiz Jr., and Patricia Ortiz; brothers: Carlos Ortiz, and Ignacio Ortiz Valencia; grandchildren Gabryela E. Galvan, Sean Kemp, Graciela Galvan, Gael Galvan, Nayvi Robertson, and Gustavo Galvan, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm and a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm at St. Francisca X Cabrini Catholic Church. 1606 San Casimiro Street. San Antonio, Texas. 78214. Visitation will continue at the Church 10:00 am on Friday, February 15, 2019 with a 11:00 am Funeral Mass of Resurrection to be celebrated at St. Francisca X Cabrini Catholic Church with interment to follow in First Memorial Cemetery
