

Ruben Siller passed away Thursday, December 3, 2009 at the age of 60. Born on February 26, 1949 in Corpus Christi, Texas, he graduated from W. B. Ray High School in 1967 and from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1972.
Mr. Siller had a successful career in medical diagnostic sales, including being owner and president of Scientific Supply, Inc. from 1980 to 1991.
Throughout his career, he was known as a dedicated and hard-working producer whose business success was based on positive relationships and exemplary service.
Mr. Siller was loyal and loving to his family and friends as well as an avid supporter of The University of Texas. He was an active member of St. Matthew's United Methodist Church for much of his life. Mr. Siller always looked forward to annual fishing and bird hunting trips with close friends and family. He had a great sense of humor, a fun-loving personality, and cooked a mean fried chicken.
Mr. Siller is survived by his son, Matthew Siller; daughter, Lauren Siller; mother, Margaret Siller; sister, Frances Dove and husband, Dewey Dove; brother, David Siller and wife, Mary Ann Siller; former wife, Gail Siller and numerous extended family members and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to a charity of your choice.
