It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother Ruby L. Wagoner, a loving mother, a devoted wife to our father, Bobby Wagoner, and a cherished friend to many. She left this world on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at the age of 90. Her strong character and authenticity touched the lives of all who knew her.
Born on February 23, 1934, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, Ruby was a beacon of strength and honor. She dedicated her life to her family and her friends. She had a way of making everyone feel they had a special role in her life. She enjoyed a long career in banking and maintained relationships with her former customers and friends long after she retired. After her retirement she was very active in the Bulverde Senior Activity Center where she established many new friends. Though she is no longer with us, her friendship and legacy will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Ruby is survived by her sons, Harvey Lane, James Ronald and Donald Ray Wagoner; her grandchildren, Angela Atwood, Scott Wagoner, Brent Wagoner, Jessica Bilbrey, Sarah Scardella and Hayley Wolff; and her many great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Bobby Wagoner; her son, Robert E. Wagoner; and her granddaughter, Jennifer Wagoner.
A visitation will be held at Porter Loring Mortuary North, 2102 N. Loop 1604 E, San Antonio, TX 78232 in the Chapel from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday, March 6, 2025.
