Rusty Reams, age 62, of Kingsbury, TX, died Saturday, December 9, 2006. He grew up in Rocksprings and Del Rio. He served in the U.S. Navy 1963-1967. Rusty retired from Southern Pacific Railroad after 30 years of service. He loved golfing, horses, hunting, rodeos, trail rides and life; he was a fine dancer. Rusty rarely spoke against another person and was a loyal friend. He was deeply spiritual and generous. The last years of his life were spent at the farm, where he and Nora bred fine horses and raised their own hay.
His sons and grandchildren were the joy of his life. Rusty was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Lucille Cowsert Reams. Survivors: wife, Nora Scott Reams; children, Clint Reams and Ben Reams and wife, Alma; grandchildren, Benjamin Taylor Reams, Madison-Tate Reams, Jayce Andrew Reams; sister, Renee' McFarland and husband, Jim; former spouse, Charlene Manning; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
