She was born February 23, 1922, in Corbin, Kentucky, to the late Jesse and Ida Bowcock.
A longtime member of Trimphant Lutheran Church in Garden Ridge, Texas, she served on the church board. Ruth found great joy in giving of her time, as she spent many years volunteering with the Red Cross.
A devoted and lifelong military wife, her family is happy knowing that she has been reunited with her late husband, Curtis R. Hutchison.
A loving mother and grandmother, Ruth will be dearly missed all who loved her and knew her.
Ruth is survived by her son, Mike Hutchison and wife, Dian; grandchildren, Lisa Youngblood and Randy Hutchison; great-grandchildren, Lauren and Natalie Youngblood, Caroline, Will and Emily Hutchison.
