Ruth Caldwell Lewis

She is welcomed to her heavenly home by her husband, Rev. R.F. Lewis; sons-in-law, Donald Tedford and Roy Lopez and a close family friend Bill Rhue who have gone on before her. Mrs. Lewis gave her life to serving the Lord and others. She was a Pastor's wife and a great Christian Woman.

She was a member of FBCSA for 30 years and a Sunday school teacher. She taught in public school in Stephenville, TX, Bloomington, TX and Harlandale High School from 1957 to 1982. Her education was from Furman University in Greenville S.C., Trinity University, San Antonio.

She leaves behind a great number of people who love her and will miss her greatly; children, Anne Lewis and Edwin, Jackie Tedford, and Connie Lopez; grandchildren, Phil Lewis and Denita, Barry Lewis and Melinda, Tammy Grubaugh and Shawn, Roy Lopez Jr, Roger Lopez and Anna and Richard Lopez; great grandchildren, Shane, Lane, Jace, Barrett, Bethany, Sarah, Brianna, Ian, Garrison, Sabrina and Zachary; special family members, Pat, Steve and Micaiah Shields, Virginia Rhue, and the Lopez family, Rose Ann Seale, Nell Cayce, Randy Garner and Stephen Carrell. Special thanks to the nurses who cared for her at home, Freddie King, Shirley Pleasure and Virginia Grenado.

Mom, you blessed all of us with your unselfish heart and now you are receiving your crown you so greatly deserve.
