She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Schmidt, Sr. daughter, Ruth Blesse and grandson, Neil Blesse. She is survived by her sons, Charles (Chuck) Boerner (Becky), Gary Dean Boerner; step-son, Albert Schmidt, Jr.; step-daughter, Betty Whitaker; 2 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and sister, Gertrude Johnson.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday December 5, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum II.
