She was a member and past President of Monte Vista Garden Club, as well a member of The Daughters of American Republic and The Battle of Flowers Association. Sally was a sustaining member of the Junior League of San Antonio. She is the former owner of La Fonda Restaurant. Sally loved traveling with her girlfriends, especially to New York. She and Mr. Craven also enjoyed traveling the world. Gardening and flower arranging were a big part of her life. Later in life she enjoyed taking care of her four dachshund dogs.
Sally was preceded in death by her husbands, Jack Berry and James D. Craven.
She is survived by son, John H. Berry Jr.; daughter, Peggy Berry Betts and husband Howard, Linda and Kathy Craven; and grandchildren, John H. Berry III, Luke Berry, Dr. Jack Betts and Robert Betts.
