so sorry for your loss. I was the person who bought his house in Bristol through Orrie. My son and I lived there for 5 years,and loved that house. Orrie told me all about you all. When we removed the panelling in the kitchen, it had everyone's name written on the wall even the pets. I believe I took a picture of it. The only major change I made was to put a pass thru with a countertop between the kitchen and dining room. There were some awards left, from Bristol High, that belonged to one of the sons I don't remember which one. I believe I left them in the basement to stay with the house. I have some fond memories of that house, and I just wanted to let you know this. I moved out to be with my new husband a few years ago, and sold it to a nice young couple. 
My mother was disappointed, because she loved it too. She lives in Edgely where I grew up, and still reminds me of how much she loved that house.

First let me say that we are so sorry for your loss Sam was a very special guy. 
It's funny I was out running on Sun. and saw someone who I thought might be Jim Boyle, a running friend. As sometimes happens while running my mind wandered back to to when we lived in Bristol Boro and I would run around BHS with Sam. He was slow and steady and we would chat as we ran. I mentioned once to my Mom Anna Kasperski Campbell that I met a really nice guy running and she said I used to walk to church with his wife Tini when I lived on Hayes St.. The small world of Bristol Boro. 
To keep this short I will say that I had many good memories as I was jogging, and that I was impressed that he became an athlete in his 60's. I also wondered if Sam was still alive because I hadn't gotten a Christmas card the last few years. And to see his obituary in Wed. paper, I got my answer. 
Again our sincerest sympathy.

Dear Craig, Sam, and Barry 
"Deacon", I was sorry to hear of the death of your father. He was a first class individual who treated others with dignity and respect. I hope that he didn't suffer and am sure that he is together again with your mother now. I will always remember the kindness that both of your parents offered to me in my life, especially when Barry "The Deacon" was teasing Sam and me.

I already have and always will miss Sam Moore. Sam and I ran together at the Bristol High School track. I rode my bike past his home on my way home from work and would wave and sometimes stop for a chat. He was a very kind and likable guy. It brought tears to my eyes to hear of his passing. My sympathy to your family. I'll be running with you again in heaven some day Sam.

I have many fond memories of running with Sam. He holds the record for running the most laps at the Bristol High School track.
