"Sammy Q" We couldn't have asked for a better son-in-law. We thank GOD for bringing you into Staci's life and into our family. Your smile and optimism were contagious. When the ten of us were together, celebrating Mother's Day, I thought about what a loving, congenial family we were. Now there are nine of us left to keep your memory alive for little Sam and Colton. We love you and miss you.

A great friend, very compassionate. We liked the same kind of music. Sam got me into a lot of the things I still like today. We used to trade and buy records. "Vinyl Ones" really cool. I still have all the records Sam brought me back from San Antonio, when he used to live in Laredo. A very genuine and solid citizen. A rare, caring man.

I went to United High with Sammy when my Air Force family, last name Bingheim, was stationed at Laredo AFB before the base closed in 1973.I remember how he always had a smile on his face, a great sense of humor, and a kind word for every one. For so many of us our memories began in Del Mar, on Candlewood, as part of the United High School family. Who could ask for better? Sammy, as well as all of the Quays, was an integral part of that picture. With loving thoughts we extend our prayers to Kathy, Karla and Mark and especially to Stacy, Colton and little Sam. We will continue to embrace you in our arms and hold you in our prayers in the days ahead.

Sammy will always be a part of the Del Mar/ United family that grew up together on Candlewood. As a good friend and neigbor, I along with all the others will miss him greatly.
