

He was born in Laredo on December 11, 1952. Sam was predeceased by his mother and father Samuel Zamora, Jr. and Margie Marie Tenery Zamora, sister Antonia Irene Holmes and brother-in-law Carl Beckum.
He is survived by his wife, Marion Zamora, sisters Dorothy Guffey and husband Grady, Melinda Millsap and husband Roland, sister Grace Beckum, brother Felipe Zamora, brother-in-law Jimmy Holmes and son Jason Conner, niece Michelle Nelson, husband Jeff and children Arabella and Alexander; nephew Michael Beckum, wife Erica and children Madalyne and Molly; niece Antonia Whisenant, husband Ryan and children Roland and Skylar; brother-in-law David Hatcher, wife Ranju and son Mark; sister-in-law Vivienne Pearse, husband Peter and son John; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
Sam was a Field Superintendent for 30 years with GD Interior Construction.
He loved spending time with family and friends, cooking and discovering new foods, deep sea fishing, traveling, and most of all, raising cattle in Webb County.
He will be deeply missed.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 28th from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Porter Loring on McCullough.
