Sandy was born in Gary, Indiana on July 11, 1940. She was most at home skating in ice rinks or in her studio, covered in watercolors. Sandy found comfort with the ocean, and would happily spend the day fishing along the coastline or bird watching. Knitting and tending to her garden were some of her favorite ways to spend a peaceful evening.
She was preceded in death by her son, Stephen Michael Gray; her daughter, Bonnie Gail Gray Michalczak; and her sister, Linda Caldwell. Sandra is survived by her grandchildren, Chris (Meghan) Gray, Cherub Spivey (Brandon Daniels), and Allison Spivey; 3 great grandchildren; nieces, Ann Sorrell and Cathy Palmer.
Sandy wishes to be remembered in the prayers of her family and friends. "May she rest in peace for all eternity in the loving arms of her Father."
