Sara Lee Yetter McDonald died on Saturday, August 30, 2014 in San Antonio, TX. Sara was married to Harold F. McDonald for 62 years and was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was born in Omaha, Nebraska to Edward Lee and Margaret Louise Yetter. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wyoming and was a lifelong member of Kappa Kappa Gamma. She was a longtime member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and recent member of Saint Anthony de Padua Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Genevieve Miller and Mary Clare Wells; and her husband, Harold F. McDonald.
Sara is survived by her three children: Kathleen Herman (Denis), Linda McDonald (John Rowe), and Dr. John McDonald (Cindy); three grandchildren, Erin Herman, John Ryan McDonald and Jay McDonald; one great-granddaughter, Avery Herman; sister-in-law, Kathleen Peters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 8, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Porter Loring on McCullough Ave.
